Digit Filters Closed Open Straight Boxed The Closed Open Straight Boxed (P34ID:COS-BOX) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The Closed Open Straight filter has the following options:
Closed Open Straight = Digits C = 0 6 8 9 O = 2 3 5 S = 1 4 7
Digits 0 = C 1 = S 2 = O 3 = O 4 = S 5 = O 6 = C 7 = S 8 = C 9 = C
Closed Open Straight = Digits C = 0 6 8 9 O = 2 3 5 S = 1 4 7
| The Closed Open Straight filter in combination with VTracs, VZero, ATrax and Neighbors:
VTracs 1 = S 2 = O 3 = O 4 = S 5 = O
Neighbors 1 = S 2 = O 3 = O 4 = S 5 = O
| VZero 0 = C 1 = S 2 = O 3 = O 4 = S
ATrax 0 = C 1 = S 2 = O 3 = O 4 = S

The addition "Boxed" (BOX) refers to the fact that in this case the position within the result is of no interest. So the filter string is always sorted in ascending order. Closed Open Straight (COS) is one of the two filters that divides the digits by their physical appearance (,Curve Line (CL) being the other one). Closed are the digits that have a closed circle, 0, 6, 8 and 9, open are the round digit without a closed circle, 2, 3 and 5, and the rest only have straight lines in them, 1, 4 and finally the 7. While it might seem like an odd way to filtering digits out, it's as good a way as any.
