Digit Filters ATrax Boxed Pick 4 The ATrax Boxed (P34ID:ATX-BOX) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The ATrax filter has the following options:
ATrax = Digits 0 = 1 4 1 = 3 7 2 = 6 9 3 = 2 5 4 = 0 8
The addition "Boxed" (BOX) refers to the fact that in this case the position within the result is of no interest. So the filter string is always sorted in ascending order.
To show you how to find the ATrax filter for a Pick 4 number here an example step by step.
Pick 4 ATrax Conversion Step 1: Divide the 8366 into separate digits: 8366 => 8 3 6 6 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 8 = 4 3 = 1 6 = 2 6 = 2 Step 3: Sort the filters in ascending order: 4 1 2 2 => 1 2 2 4 Step 4: Combine the filters to a string: 1 2 2 4 = 1224
ATrax (ATX), for Alternate or Alternative Tracking, has to be seen an improvement of the VTracs (VTX), as it combines digits logically rather than by a simple adding of 5 to the digit. Since the conversions do not have to be done by hand any longer, other combinations can be done with simple tools online rather than with pencil and paper. |
