Combined Filters VZero Distances Pick 3 The VZero Distances (VTZ-DST) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
VZero (VTZ) is a different representation of the VTracs (VTX) concept with the difference that the digits start with 0 rather than 1. That simplifies the conversion drastically as the first five digits (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) are the same in both number and VZero conversion.
To show you how to calculate the VZero Distances filter for a Pick 3 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 3 VZero Distances Conversion Step 1: Divide 765 into separate digits: 765 => 7 6 5 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 7 = 2 6 = 1 5 = 0 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 2 1 0 = 210
Part II: Pick 3 VZero Distances Conversion Step 1: Divide the number into separate digits: 210 => 2 1 0 Step 2: Calculate the distance between each digit and the next (the last digit with the first): 2 to 1 = 1 1 to 0 = 1 0 to 2 = 2 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 1 1 2 = 112
