Combined Filters ATrax Root Sums Pick 3 The ATrax Root Sums (ATX-RS) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
ATrax (ATX), for Alternate or Alternative Tracking, has to be seen an improvement of the VTracs (VTX), as it combines digits logically rather than by a simple adding of 5 to the digit. Since the conversions do not have to be done by hand any longer, other combinations can be done with simple tools online rather than with pencil and paper. The Root Sums filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. You get the root sum of a number by first adding up the digits within that number and then adding up the digits of each sum continuously until only one digit is left. To show you how to calculate the ATrax Root Sums filter for a Pick 3 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 3 ATrax Root Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide 999 into separate digits: 999 => 9 9 9 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 9 = 2 9 = 2 9 = 2 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 2 2 2 = 222
Part II: Pick 3 ATrax Root Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide 222 into separate digits: 222 => 2 2 2 Step 2: Add up the digits: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
