There is the rumor that ...
... the Number Combination Slasher is a complicated tool.

That makes me smile; as I use use it tons of time a day for the smallest tasks. I always have at least one Browser window open with the Slasher on, sometimes two to cover both Pick 3 and Pick 4 at the same time.

With a few key strokes I use it to answer most of the questions I am getting on a daily basis with a 100% accuracy. Most of the time 2 or 3 commands are all that is needed.

In reality the tool is so simple that it hurts. The few commands you need to answer basic questions and to reduce numbers quickly are simple and self-explanatory:

[ADD ALL NUMBERS]
... adds all the possible numbers to get started the 1000 in Pick 3 and the 10000 in Pick 4.

[ADD ALL NUMBERS BOXED]
(You guessed this!) ...adds just the boxed numbers, 220 in Pick 3 and 715 in Pick 4.

[CONVERT TO ....]
... converts the the list numbers to the filter you are looking for, e.g SUMS, KEYS, PAIRS, ROOTS, basically you name it.

[SELECT .....]
... selects the numbers from the list that have a certain filter option, e.g. SUMS, KEYS, PAIRS, ROOTS, basically you name it.

That is really all you need to get started. Now if someone (it might be yourself) asks you something like:

How many numbers in Pick 3 have the sum of 13?
You quickly use the slasher:
[ADD ALL NUMBERS]
[SELECT SUMS] 13
... and press the SLASH COMBOS button.

And your answer is:
